out my window

I planted the rest of the potatoes after I got home from work yesterday. I have one row of Russet, one row of Yukon Gold, and a third row that is about 2/3 Red Nordland and 1/3 Russet.  So slowly but surely the garden begins to progress...

Here is the view from my front window during my lunch break today.

American Goldfinch - they like to eat the nyjer thistle

White crowned sparrow - often there is a whole flock but this one was by himself

House finches - they prefer the black oil sunflower seeds

Audobon's yellow-rumped warbler - they are very skittish and hard to get pictures of but they love to eat suet

What pretty pictures! I'm missing my birds in this new place. Maybe I can get a birdbath next year. Just makes a window come alive. Thanks for sharing yours! Liz
