so nice of you to stop by

I really enjoy all the different birds that visit my yard, and you can tell spring is really here (despite the un-spring-like weather this year) when birds you haven't seen all winter start showing up.
 Male blackheaded grosbeak

Eurasian collared dove - according to my bird book these birds do not live in my area, however they have been here for years.  I have these doves and mourning doves in my yard every day, but I haven't got a good picture of the mourning doves yet.
Evening grosbeaks - they are infrequent visitors to my yard but show up every now and then to eat sunflower seeds.

In this picture, there is a female at left, along with the two males.

The newest bird to show up in my yard - I had to use the book to find out it was a Lazuli Bunting.  These aren't great pictures, but it was very skittish.  Hopefully he will be back; such a pretty little bird.
