weedin' in the rain

Today I planted two evergreen blueberries and some comfrey plants.  I weeded and mulched some around the rhubarb and raspberries - there is a lot of weeding left to do.  I didn't take any pictures of what I planted because it was raining so much I didn't want to take the camera outside.  I picked about a pound of rhubarb and cooked up some sauce with ginger and honey for dessert tonight.

This time of year in Oregon is so pretty with the rhododendrons blooming all around.  Since it was too rainy to take pictures today, here are a couple pictures of a rhodie I took at my parents' house on Mother's Day.
